Who we are looking for
A self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. At least 3 year's experience in supporting Custody Client/Asset Manager service relationships involving query management across the full spectrum of back & middle office operations - including multi-market Trade and FX settlement, Cash Management and Processing, Cash and Stock reconciliations and Fund Onboarding activities. Candidate will be an individual contributor overseeing external client query allocation across the London group with responsibility for managing some of the more complex Client's Service requirements.

The team you will be joining is part of the Global Client Service division within State Street focused on providing asset owners and their appointed managers with timely and accurate answers to questions they have to support the effective delivery of their Investment activity. This role will be key to ensuring we have an appropriate level of oversight from an individual with an ability to solve problems, coordinate cross team work assignment, and identify and mitigate emerging risk.

What you will be responsible for
As Officer you will

  • Monitor query volumes and resource allocation across the service team to meet agreed Service Level Expectations (SLE's)
  • Proactively engage with internal and external clients to resolve complex or recurring issues.
  • Promote operational risk excellence culture within the team.
  • Work closely with Client Service Officers in support of their allocated Asset Manager clients.
  • Identify operational changes and the technical support required to achieve. Work with Product & technology teams to define requirements.
  • Ensure complex issues are escalated as needed and review aged inquiries to ensure proper and timely resolution.
  • Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities.
