About our client
Our client, a well-established private equity fund with a focus on the emerging markets space is currently looking to hire a VP of strategy and special projects to join their London team and work very closely with the CEO. The fund has over ten years of experience investing across the emerging markets space and prides itself on its sustainable and impactful investment strategy. As a business, they are currently performing very well and are anticipating continued growth. They have very recently raised a new fund and are looking into an additional strategy for the coming year - making it a very exciting time to join.
What the job involves
As the VP of strategy and special projects you will report to and work directly with the funds very impressive CEO, providing direct support in the development of the strategic direction of the firm. The role has been created due to the rapid growth of the fund which has identified many new strategic growth opportunities. The role will work across all areas of the fund, really getting involved from everything strategic to operational. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing individual from a consulting, M&A or corporate finance background to really make an impact and take a great next step in their career. There is endless opportunities available with the role and sky really is the limit.

- Support across the fund working on multiple strategic and operational projects
- Support all merger and acquisition-based activities
- Both internal and future investment strategic planning
- Maintenance of investment and fund business plans
- Support the CEO in all fundraising activities
- Ad-hoc strategic project support required by the CEO
- Analysis of macro and micro trends across the emerging markets
Who we are looking for
- Experience gained within the consulting, M&A or corporate finance space
- Knowledge and previous experience of private equity would be advantageous
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Ability to work across multiple internal teams and external senior stakeholders
