Overview
Utilities KYC, BNY Mellon is looking for a senior technology professional who can independently manage, drive and implement dashboarding and automation solutions on landscape of financial services industry related data models.
The incumbent should have at least 14 years of relevant experience in the field of data analytics, dashboarding, ETL and business intelligence. S/he would demonstrate a proven track record of ideating, solutioning and implementing complex solutions that cater to business needs of reporting and analytics requirements.
Should be self-driven in identifying automation opportunities and able to lead large programs where coordination with multiple business, technology, risk and control teams are required to drive home intended solution.
Should be able to lead, provide mentorship and troubleshoot challenges for junior technocrats in order to deliver project deliverables. Should have demonstrated people management capabilities in addition to strong technology acumen and hands-on knowledge and experience.
Should be able to front end client communication and escalations along with the spirit of working in a team to see successful closure of elaborate and complex projects.
Should have experience in interaction with global clients, business stakeholders and different partner technology teams to develop strategic and quality products that cater to business needs as defined.
Should have working knowledge and experience of leading both waterfall and agile methodology of software development. Should be able to guide juniors and lead the partner operations and business analysts accordingly.
Should be able to manage large book of work independently through effective and clear communication with multiple stakeholder and partner teams. The role will manage both program and also provide technology knowledge and leadership guidance.
Experience background with similar firms within global financial services industry is preferable though not a mandatory criterion for consideration on this role.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 10-14 years of total work experience preferred with 3/4 years management experience preferred.
  • Experience in trading, brokerage, fraud or law or preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
Preferred;
Should be hands-on and well-versed with-
Dashboarding
  1. Tableau - Client and Server side
  2. Knowledge on QlikView/ Quiescence or any other dashboarding tool is added advantage.
  3. Knowledge on ThoughtSpot or Business Objects is added advantage
ETL
  1. Alteryx/ Pentaho is added advantage but hands-on experience in data transformation is required.
  2. Ability to write and execute complex business transformation data queries will be required. Knowledge of Jrules/ Drools will be added advantage.
Architecture
  1. Should have strong foundation knowledge on databases and data architecture through SQL, DB or Oracle. Ability to understand data schemas is a must.
  2. Should have experience on connections via APIs, data streaming methods.
