Issuer Digital Solutions Product Owner
The Product Owner for S&P Global Market Intelligence Issuer Solutions Group will work as part of an Agile Team.

You are responsible for understanding the workflow of our users and you will play a pivotal role in working directly with those users, subject matter experts, and Product Managers to define user stories and requirements, prioritize the backlog, and optimize the execution of program priorities.

You will deliver enhancements to our end-users through applications that are currently supporting thousands of the largest publicly traded organizations in the world. This is done by guiding a scrum team to build and manage custom software applications, customer relationship management tools, and data and analytics solutions.

From an operational standpoint, you will implement product development practices that enable ongoing progress and product enhancements that support our multitude of business lines.

This is an exciting time to join our product team; we are working on launching multiple new products in our Issuer Digital Solutions Portfolio and pushing ourselves to work in more effective and creative ways.

What You'll Do
  • Develop the vision of a product that represents end-user interests, acting as the voice of the user
  • Work directly with clients and analysts on gathering requirements and feedback
  • Ensure requirements align with company goals and the product roadmap
  • Manage the ongoing goals and objectives of the product
  • Establish and manage processes and operations for frequent and reliable releases of software
  • Define and prioritize epics and user stories in a backlog
  • Lead team planning, estimation, and sequencing with clear direction
  • Work with User Experience (UX) teams to define and design new projects
  • Help the team to remove blockers, answer questions about stories, and refine the backlog
  • Create story acceptance criteria and support acceptance test-driven development with the team
  • Lead team demonstrations to program partners
  • Prepare retrospectives at the completion of a project
  • Produce and maintain high-quality user documentation
What We Look For:
  • At least 3 years of digital workflow solutions product development experience or 3 years of relevant Investor Relations consulting experience
  • At least 3 years of Agile experience or 3 years of experience using, building, or selling custom application or customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience working directly with internal stakeholders, external clients and/or subject matter experts
  • Ability to break down technical issues into easily digestible data points for stakeholder consumption
  • Experience of working on data logic or data analysis projects
  • Mindset that encourages collaboration, self-organization, accountability, and a drive to deliver high-quality products
  • Values collaborative teamwork to define, design, develop and deliver high-impact product, project, or process initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to collaborate and influence in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to identify gaps or program risks and take preemptive actions to address them
  • Demonstrated technical and financial aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels including senior stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Strong technical writing & visualization skills
  • Strong execution and product delivery skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in group and individual settings
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/Scrum a plus
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $65k to $80k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
