The Global and Integrated Finance Division ('DFIN') department's aim is to add value to the Group and its business lines' development, through a transformation of our organisation and operating modes. DFIN provides a key contribution to the Group value creation, through our activities of strategic advisory, steering, data production and certification. We are engaged in all dimensions of performance evaluation across the Group and provide a transversal and objective vision to support informed decision-making for the management and development of the Group and its business lines.
Summary of the key purposes of the role
DFIN PFS (Performance Financial Steering) is responsible for steering the financial performance of the UK platform (GBIS).
It measures and analyses the profitability of activities portfolio whilst optimising the use of all available resources. It ensures the necessary support and the right level of expertise is provided to the UK business partners and the management of GBIS. Taking a cross-business view of the financial steering processes, PFS streamlines and provides momentum in terms of simplification and standardisation.
UK DFIN PFS mainly covers the performance steering of: Market Activities (MARK), Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA), Global Transaction Banking and Payment Services (GTPS)

- Ability to quickly give a synthetic overview (good oral & written communication) & communicate with top management
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in process improvement analysis, business process reengineering and transformation/Integration projects.
- Office pack, Project Management skills, understanding of new Digital Technologies (SG Markets, Alteryx, Power BI and Internal IT architecture (FO to Accounting) would be a plus.
- Functional background expected on one of the following areas: Accounting norms and standards (IFRS, local GAAP is a plus), Regulatory Reporting processes, Liquidity and Scarce Resources Management, Product Control, Market Risk, Credit Risk
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Financial services.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: Engineer degree, Bsc/Ba, Msc/ Ma, MBA, CPA/CA, CFA, FRM would be a plus.

Summary of responsibilities
- Responsible for the deliverables related to the strategic and financial performance of the UK Business / Service Units for UK finance (DFIN/DIR) and the CEO Office.
- Support ad-hoc business/financial studies (e.g. profitability analysis, normalized profit, cost allocation, etc.) on behalf of Head of DFIN/PFS for DFIN/UK/DIR.
- Support the PFS Business Line team, especially in building forecasts, cost reviews, P&L analysis and optimising reporting by utilising the digitalisation platform
- Identifies trends and improvement areas in terms of business evolution, and advises on potential profitability improvement areas
- Be a business partner to CFOs, BU & SU Heads, and CEO of the UK
