Reporting to the Head of MEA business, contribute to client retention, business development and build new relationships with existing and new clients and consultant. The candidate is required to work and coordinate with colleagues and maintain strong relationship internally and externally. The role will also require client facing responsibilities for establishing new and maintaining existing client relationships in the Middle East and Africa regions.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the MEA business development strategy as agreed with the regional Head of the Business.
  • Accountable for measurable deliverables related to objectives, identifying priority strategies, building on a long-term institutional brand.
  • Lead prospect, consultant and client meetings, bringing in investment professionals or other departments as appropriate.
  • Act as assigned lead and back-up for a portfolio of tier 1 institutional clients and prospects.
  • Develop new relationships, as agreed with channel head and support with existing relationships.
  • Researching opportunities, both on a market-wide and individual investor basis.
  • Deal with ad-hoc enquiries from clients, prospects and consultants.
  • Work alongside the Client Account Management to hand-over new clients into the client Account Management on-boarding and management process.
  • Coordinate the provision of meeting follow-up information.
  • Guide and provide final review and input to RFP, RFI and similar documents, as well as presentations as required.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
  • Conduct business inelegance on the current market environment and strategies of interest.
