Trading Assistant/Middle Office - Listed Derivatives - Hedge Fund

Multi-strategy hedge fund is hiring an experienced Trading Assistant to join their Listed Derivatives (Futures / Options) middle office team. The TA will be involved with a wide variety of day-to-day tasks in support of the firm's trading operations in addition to playing a key role in tactical and strategic projects.

The successful candidate will bring the following:

• 3+ years' experience as a Sales and/or Trading Assistant or in Trading Operations at a bank or fund; Product Control and/or Middle Office experience
• Sound product knowledge spanning Listed Derivatives, particularly Futures & Options.
• Strong technical toolkit would be beneficial, including Excel, VBA, SQL or Python;
• Experience in project management;
• Highly collaborative; able to build relationships with finance, operations, quant, tech and trading teams;
• Outstanding communication skills; ability to respond rapidly, and analytically, to situations as they arise;
• Interest in / passion for the markets;
• A strong academic pedigree from a top university;
• CFA beneficial
