Your responsibilities:
  • Lead product management for BlackRock's active equity business and contribute to the evolution of our product platform.
  • Drive strategic product initiatives, bringing together stakeholders across our liquid active, index and alternative businesses.
  • Define the product agenda by mapping, guiding, and tracking products throughout their lifecycle and aligning annual sales targets for key focus products.
  • Conduct competitor, market and fund range analysis to assess the health and saleability of products and, where appropriate, recommend changes to improve commercial appeal.
  • Bring creative thinking and analytical rigor to new product development, wrapper innovation and seed capital allocation through evaluation of client needs, market growth drivers and regulatory environment.
  • Partnering with product strategy teams across the platform to provide highest conviction response to sustainable regulation / evolving client preferences, finding ways to expand successful franchises and expanding into new segments and markets.

  • BA/BS required, with 6+ years' prior experience in a related field such as product strategy, corporate strategy, sales management or institutional fundraising.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional global projects and influence senior stakeholders across investments, distribution and corporate functions. Strong written and oral communication skills a must.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment - adaptable, reliable with a strong 'can do attitude'.
  • Conversance in sustainability, understanding of private markets and quantitative investing is preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills required. Familiarity with industry data sources (Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment, Preqin, etc.) a plus
