As a Barclays Development Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operationalisation and implementation of a portfolio of key, global, bank-wide development programs, which support the Barclays people strategy. This will include designing and owning a participant engagement and communications plan, stakeholder and budget management, supplier engagement, and measuring the business impact of development programs. You will be working as part of a global team and will have aligned resource to support the day-to-day logistics. You will have direct interactions with key suppliers and stakeholders, building a strong partnership approach.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.
What will you be doing?
• Owning and overseeing the implementation and program management of development programmes
• Working with the Product Directors, Content team and other relevant colleagues to scope and design the deployment of appropriate interventions / programs
• Liaising with all Stakeholders of the programme to create robust plans and timelines
• Escalating identified risks to the leadership team for discussion and resolution
• Managing programme budget, including the allocation of spend across entities, POs and invoice management
• Providing recommendations on budget spend / allocation
• Making recommendations to Portfolio Lead / Managers based on holistic insights for programme redesign and enhancements
What we're looking for:
• Proven Project Management skills, including excellent planning and organisation
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets from multiple sources)
• Excellent IT skills with vast experience using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and Vlook up) and PowerPoint, sharepoint and webex facilitation skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• A background in HR or learning
• Previous experience working in a global matrix environment
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence
