Financial Reporting Director - FINREP - Investment Banking

Excellent opportunity opens for a Financial Reporting (FINREP) professional to join a growing Investment Bank focussed in the Capital Markets, and take ownership of the Statutory/Financial Reporting. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of External Reporting.

• Complete FINREP reporting for Europe on quarterly and annual basis and support London FINREP reporting, ensuring full compliance with reporting requirements and reconciliation to financial statements. Seek ways to automate reporting process.
• Co-ordinate and manage Financial Reporting/ Statutory accounts process for Europe, ensuring reporting timelines are met and liaising with auditors as required. Prepare analysis to support various disclosures and ensure effective control process is in place to support accounts preparation. Seek ways to automate the statutory reporting process.
• Provide full support for Management Reporting function, ensuring all aspects of the required reporting can be undertaken to ensure cover is in place, including budgets and forecasts, allocations, transfer pricing and providing support to management and business management as required.
• Support the GL Close Process, identifying errors prior to close and ensuring the integrity of the London Ledger. Ensure monthly attestations, reconciliations are complete and reviewed for any exceptions.
• Act as regional SOX Officer and accountable for ensuring SOX testing, documentation and reporting requirements are met. Ensure effective controls are in place for areas of responsibility in line with SOX requirements.
• Provide accounting guidance to the team to support statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regional CFO and Head of Europe with ad hoc information requirements as required.
• Provide support as required to CFO and Head of External Reporting and work closely with them as part of continued career development and succession planning.
