Our client, a leading pan-European investment platform, is seeking a Transactions Analyst to join their team, focussing on the analysis and execution of multi sector real estate acquisitions across Europe. As part of the team the successful candidate be involved in every aspect of the transaction (asset underwriting, modelling, variation, analysis of portfolio) providing great exposure and learning opportunities to different sectors and geographical locations.

Position Responsibilities
- Assist the Transactions Team members and local teams in the underwriting and execution of deals across multiple sectors, regions and risk profiles throughout Europe
- Conduct financial analysis of a wide range of real estate investments including modelling of real estate cash flows and financing
- Undertake research and liaise with key stakeholders to support key underwriting assumptions
- Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including investment committee reports
- Assist in the management of key stakeholders and advisers involved with the Transactions process
- Participate in meetings with investors, clients and advisors, be a key member of deal screening meetings and participate in Investment Committee meetings
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years' commercial real estate experience (real estate fund management/ corporate finance/ accounting / investment banking/ advisory)
- Demonstrable experience of creating property cashflows from scratch and ability to run and adjust complex financial models
Personal Competencies
- Analytical understanding of commercial property with a sound commercial judgement
- Highly numerate with strong financial modelling skills (cash flow analysis, DCF) and understanding of financial statements. A cashflow modelling test will be required
- Outstanding interpersonal and team-working skills
- Fluent English. Other European languages (especially French and / or German) are a bonus
Remuneration
Basic salary of c. £55,000, dependant on experience, plus benefits and a competitive annual bonus.
