This role sits within the Risk & Analytics team. The drivers behind our platform - brilliant people working together to create, code, and build the next game changers.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a talented Data scientist to join our Existing Borrower and Investor Analytics team. This role will primarily sit on the existing borrower side of the team but there may be times investor projects are also undertaken.

• Play a key role in shaping and scaling FlexiPay into a core product for Funding Circle
• Build and own financial models to understand the economics of the product, and the levers available to optimize this
• Work with key stakeholders across Commercial and Technology teams to define and monitor the key metrics driving the success of the FlexiPay product as well as design and implement a multi-channel strategy to maximize growth of FlexiPay alongside Funding Circle's growing product suite
• Building and owning reports to track product performance and drive appropriate actions and/or forecast updates
• Conducting deep-dive analysis to understand who our FlexiPay customers are and how they engage with the product. Use this analysis to develop a strategy for customer activation and retention
• Providing requirements to our data team to ensure all necessary data for analysis on FlexiPay is suitably stored within our data lake

Are you?

• Experienced in analytics within financial services ideally on credit card or other revolving lending products preferred
• Experienced working in cross-functional teams including marketing and technology preferred
• From a coding background preferred with SQL, R, or Python
• A proven problem solver with skills using logical reasoning and analytical methods
• Able to excellently translate complex analytical outputs into clear, simple and actionable stories
