The core component is to manage new product & fund launches for the fund, both at pre-launch (advising on marketing restrictions, logistical considerations and marketing strategy - you are effectively the point person to bring the new product to market) and post launch stage (reviewing the existing product offering, producing cost benefits analysis on existing products / strategies, product governance etc.), albeit the hire will also play a key role in driving new fund launches / coordinating the process from a sales and marketing perspective.
The European arm of this firm will be launching multiple new products / strategies / funds over the next few years, so as a standalone role you can expect this to be highly autonomous, visible and pressurised. The firm are hiring 'big name' fundraisers and exceptional support staff (investor relations), so the hire can expect to work in a high quality, high performing European marketing team.
We are flexible on backgrounds, albeit we expect to interview candidates with roughly 3-8yrs relevant hedge fund experience - a product specialist (equities), marketer/fundraiser looking for a career change, a technical/strategic investor relations specialist or even an equities investment director could be relevant for the role.
The role has a hard 100k base salary cap. A large % of this can be received as a bonus that is purely linked to individual performance. It's worth mentioning that the firm have a great work life balance, positive culture and they are open minded with regards to wfh flexibility.
