The Team:
The S&P Global Market Intelligence demand generation marketing team is composed of creative and enthusiastic B2B marketing professionals located around the world. The Role:
As a Marketing Manager supporting high growth segments across EMEA, this individual will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, tactical campaigns, and meeting KPIs for our target audiences. The Marketing Manager will lead internal and external campaigns to launch new products, build brand awareness, and drive pipeline across our solutions. They will partner closely with product, sales, customer experience, and relationship managers to understand business objectives, create and deliver annual marketing plans, and report regularly on progress. Marketing efforts will include managing multi-channel marketing incorporating email, digital, social, print, account-based marketing programs, and events.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field and have previous management experience. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Acts as a strategic partner to Sales, Relationship Management and Product, to develop annual marketing plans and support Go-to-Market initiatives aligned to the business' growth strategy.
  • Produce, execute, measure, and report on EMEA marketing plan and campaigns developed via multi-marketing channels to drive awareness, generate and nurture leads.
  • Understand the company's products and the competitive market landscape to draft persona-driven and product messaging.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral, the website, microsites, and inventory of marketing assets to support sales enablement.
  • Develop and manage web and social media content assets, and SEO and SEM programs.
  • Utilize Marketo to build email campaigns that reach target segments and nurture leads towards conversion.
  • Partner with the events team to deliver exceptional client experiences that reflect our brand; set and proactively collect event ROI metrics.
  • Provide support to junior marketing team members to ensure execution of marketing campaigns in alignment with business strategy
  • Partner with other S&P Global divisions; identify synergies and opportunities to collaborate.
  • Maintain a consistent understanding of S&P Global Market Intelligence's solutions and the competitive landscape to draft persona-based copy.
  • Leverage global content from internal thought leaders and recommend new topics to enhance client and prospect engagement for S&P Global Market Intelligence's solutions.
  • Create and maintain an inventory of assets to be used for sales enablement and events.
  • Seek ways to improve key marketing metrics such as campaign response rates, event attendance rates, feedback scores, quality of leads, thought leadership awareness, new content/product/service introduction and adoption, and brand awareness building.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years in a marketing or communications role, or similar experience; B2B financial services experience a plus
  • Foundational understanding of the industries and EMEA markets covered by S&P Global Market Intelligence
  • Experience writing persona-driven and product messaging that clearly communicates solutions' benefits
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing across print, digital, social, and event channels to drive B2B marketing campaigns
  • Strong presentation skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, organizational and time management skills - a strong individual contributor and team player capable of balancing and prioritizing multiple projects
  • Experience in managing and executing digital marketing projects
  • Previous people management experience
  • Passionate and focused, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, fun and energetic!
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with financial information platforms such as S&P Capital IQ is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the Insurance and Investment Management workflows and personas.
  • Experience using automated marketing platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce is a plus.
