We are looking for innovative under-graduates to join our 2023 Internship Programme within our Investment division.

The department

Our investment teams support our overall purpose to help build the long-term future prosperity of our clients by managing investments for institutions and people to help them meet their financial goals and prepare for the future.

We offer innovative products and solutions across a wide range of asset classes, including Equities, Fixed income, Multi-asset, Private Assets and Alternatives.

By combining deep client relationships with market insights and our strong investment capabilities, we can design bespoke products and services. Using a combination of fundamental research and data-guided insights, we construct solutions that meet our clients changing needs.

We believe that the key to delivering better outcomes lies in gathering highly talented people who bring a diverse range of thoughts and ideas. Our 42 investment teams in 19 global locations actively manage investments across a range of asset classes. Our approach allows us to channel our insights into the right outcomes for our clients.

The base

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The programme

Our 2023 Summer Internship Programme starts on Monday 12 June 2023 and runs for 10 weeks ending on Friday 18 August 2023.

This Programme will provide you with a unique introduction into the investment management industry and our investment strategies. You'll be given introductory training and opportunities to network with people across the business.

During your internship you will be assigned to an investment team in either Equities, Fixed Income or Multi-asset where you'll have the opportunity to work on a range of things such as; research projects, shadow senior executives and learn from some of the best in the industry.

Regardless of which team you join, our job is to outperform others in the industry by using our teams of specialists and Portfolio Managers to generate research ideas and contribute to our investment choices.

Our goals are aligned with those of our clients - the creation of long-term value so we want a talented, creative and diverse team. The more different ideas we have, the more likely we are to succeed.

What you'll be like

• A great communicator with strong interpersonal skills: voicing your thoughts isn't something you're afraid off.
• Resilience - we expect you to make mistakes but it's important you're able to bounce back and learn from them.
• Be passionate about financial markets, global trends and economics
• A growth mindset - we understand you may make mistakes, and when you do, we are looking for you to learn from these.

The knowledge, skills and qualifications we're looking for

• An honours degree or equivalent - we're not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade
• Penultimate year of study or in final year of study but planning to continue further studies after the end of the Internship
