  • In this key role, you'll be undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models

What you'll do

As a Quality Automation Specialist, you'll be contributing to the transformation of testing using quality processes, tools and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity.

You'll develop and manage automation solution suites using python libraries to simulate data for AI models. You'll also request modules to test API services and distributed clusters hosted on JMeter for performance testing.

Additionally, you'll be:

  • Evolving more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions
  • Collaborating with your team to define the scope of manual and automated testing, the creation of automated test scripts and user documentation
  • Basing decisions on robust data, return on investment and value measures that demonstrate thoughtful and intelligent cost management
  • Enabling the cross skilling of colleagues with the skills and benefits of end-to-end automation testing
  • Making sure test solutions are scalable and will identify performance issues, both as holistic and detail level


The skills you'll need

You'll have experience of working on an AWS cloud platform with integrations to other on-premises infrastructures and applications. You'll also understand metrics and reporting using AWS cloud watch, AWS dashboards and Ganglia.

We'll expect you to have versatile test skills sets experience, like load testing, performance engineering and cloud testing, along with a background in test analytics and test automation using industry-recognised frameworks and test tooling.

We'll also look for you to have:

  • Knowledge of how to implement testing best practice around functionality, scalability, availability and performance
  • Experience in end-to-end and automation testing using the latest tools as recommended by the enterprise tooling framework
  • A background in designing, developing and implementing automation frameworks in new environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to management level colleagues
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
