About the team:

The UK based Corporate Compliance team predominantly support products and services offered by FIS within UK & Europe, including its FCA regulated entities, providing second line oversight and advisory support in addition to maintaining the FIS Global Corporate Compliance Programme. The team are key to maintaining the regulatory integrity of the company's vast array of Banking, Payments and Wealth Management products and services offered within the region.

What you will be doing:

A key part of the programme will be to t rack, review, interpret, and communicate pending and passed regulations, agency guidelines or directives to impacted lines of business and assist in setting priorities for regulatory issues that must be addressed by the various business areas. You will also be required to assist

in the maintenance of the Corporate Compliance Programme, liaising with multiple business functions across the FIS product and services spectrum.

You will have extensive interactions with legal, product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams as well as regularly provide reports on areas of responsibility to the Compliance Director, Senior Compliance Manager and other key stakeholders from time to time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and communicates regulatory changes that impact FIS products, services and business activities.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Offers guidance on implementing regulatory changes.
  • Communicate detailed requirements to business units, validate the solution approach and monitor status.
  • Responds to issues and matters pertaining to regulatory compliance of FIS products, services and business activities.
  • Performs periodic reviews of FIS products, services and business activities to validate compliance with applicable laws and regulations or detect regulatory violations, weak controls or other potential areas of exposure.
What you bring:
  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • At least 3 years' experience working within a compliance related position
  • Comprehensive knowledge of more than one substantive area of compliance, such as banking regulations, capital market regulations, payment services regulations or anti-money laundering.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to understand technical documents and legal or regulatory reference materials
  • Ability to follow and conduct a compliance monitoring program
  • Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with confidential issues that are sensitive in nature
Added bonus if you:
  • Hold or are working toward a professional qualification/accreditation in Compliance or AML e.g. ICA Advanced Cert or Diploma.
  • Speak an additional European language
