Overview
Description:
The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery of global change management efforts within Corporate Operational Risk. They will assist with high priority initiatives that assist in building and enhancing the processes, technology and structure of the function that include Regulatory Change Management, Operational Risk Assessments, Governance, and Operational Risk Technology Strategy. These programs will cover the Operational regulatory lifecycle and require collaboration with senior management in other functions and businesses across the enterprise. This is a critical role that will deliver integrated solutions in line with regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities include the following:
  • Apply project management and regulatory expertise to assist with the delivery of a large portfolio of projects, including but not limited to Operational Risk and regulatory remediation.
  • Partner across three lines of defense to develop holistic solutions and deliver outcomes.
  • Lead and control highly-complex projects, programs or multiple portfolios of change.
  • Help to drive the design and implementation of integrated regulatory reform solutions.
  • Collaborate with other specialist functions to achieve project/program objectives and produce deliverables.
  • Manage communication flow between all relevant parties involved in the project or program to report/receive reports on progress, risks and issues.
  • Facilitate the escalation of issues that will significantly impact delivery of the project or program.
  • Strengthen relationships built with internal teams, suppliers and clients and consistently anticipate and manage client expectations.
  • Deliver quality business solutions within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Support strategy planning and translate these into actionable proposals/business plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Corresponding years of work experience preferred.
  • Experience participating on and leading aspects of high impact programs.
  • Experience of Operational Risk Management and associated frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the various functions within financial services/asset servicing industry is preferred.
  • Has fully developed analytical and communication skills, works independently under pressure, innovatively problem solves and is able to effectively attain buy-in from others to drive solutions forward.
  • Strong presentation skills (written responses, power point, etc.).
  • Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
