Altus Partners have partnered with one of the fastest growing SaaS startups in the world, who are within the B2B Services market. This role will work with the CFO in building a best in class strategic finance team prior to a potential IPO in the short/medium future. This role will suit an ex Investment Banking Profile/Top strategy consulting Alumni with start up exposure. This role is ideal for any candidates looking for a mandate that provides genuine future CFO trajectory.

THE ROLE

The role will be responsible for solving business challenges that come with rapid scaling. Translating the company's strategy into financial targets and developing a deep understanding of the business model will be required. The role will also directly manage a sizeable team within strategic finance and therefore offers a superb route to CFO for the right candidate.

JOB SPECIFICATION
  • Translating the company's strategy into financial targets. This will require developing a deep understanding of the business model, including Product and Go-to-Market strategies, connecting our financial targets with our operational metrics.
  • Owning financial modelling and rolling forecast process. This will mean owning our multi-year financial models and delivering monthly performance reporting, which will provide actionable insight to support achieving our company objectives.
  • Detailed modelling, analysis and scenario planning of the business performance and KPIs. Actively understand the drivers and proactively recommend ways to improve.
  • Working closely with the financial controllership team, own and develop our financial planning tool to improve quality and timeliness of our management reporting.
  • Cultivating and fostering strong relationships with our specialist finance business partners across Sales & Marketing, Customer Care, R&D and G&A, to help with improving the accuracy and relevance of our financial plans.

THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in a top Consulting firm/Investment bank for at least 2-3 years and 5+ years of experience within strategic finance for fast growing private tech/software company.
  • MBA Qualified(Ideally)
  • Naturally at ease building and owning sophisticated financial models and performance metrics that will drive some of the most important decision making.
  • You are poised communicator, willing to challenge the status quo, and not hesitant to voice your informed point of view.
  • Highly analytical and can easily transition between the "big picture" and diving deep into the detail.
  • Have a reputation for navigating networks of systems and people to find the information you need
  • Have competitive compensation including equity in the company.
  • Flexibility to work from home most of the time with core hours.
