The Role: Associate Director, FIG Partnerships & Channels

Grade /Level (For internal use only): 12

The Location: London

The Impact: You will support the Head of Partnerships and Channels and will look to identify product growth opportunities, capitalizing on existing relationships within S&P and monitor the market to identify external opportunities for the Financial Institutions business. The lead will be required to build strong working relationships with our existing and new strategic partners; also plan and execute the end-to-end facilitation of and integration of various partnerships and delivery channels.

This is a high visibility role, where you will be a key participant in designing and developing the future partnership roadmap that is aligned with the overall FIG business strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and regularly report status of partner discussions and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Develop deep product expertise with an ability to collect and synthesise meaningful feedback from relationships and translate it into high-quality insights to inform product roadmaps across a variety of product teams
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel internally and externally.
  • Manage an active portfolio of potential data and technology partners.
  • Develop and promote technology and data partner value propositions to the organisation.
  • Help drive product and platform strategy by forming strategic partnerships with other business solution providers and clients.
  • Partial responsibility for all strategic and ecosystem partners across the Financial Institutions organisation.
  • Research, plan and execute the end-to-end facilitation of and integration of various partnerships and strategic alliances.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the financial services market to identify new partnerships that can enhance the value proposition of our product and drive revenue growth.
What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience within the data and financial services sector
  • Understanding of data and analytics solutions for Financial Institutions sector.
  • Experience collaborating, relationship-building, and developing working relationships at all levels of management, both internal and external
  • Knowledge of backend product integration to be able to work effectively with technical teams and understand the scope of work required.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment
  • Experience initiating and successfully identifying new business opportunities, negotiating agreements, and managing relationships
  • Resourceful, action and detail-oriented, with a high ownership mindset to deliver measurable impact
  • BA/BS degree
