Overview of Role:

This role is part of the ICG Risk and Control team. You will report to the ICG Business Policy Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the management of the ICG Policy Governance process.

The role will take on responsibility for all ICG Business owned Policy Documents (Policies, Standards and Procedures) and you will be required to work closely with control partners with respect to P olicy Documents that impact the Business, ensuring that the Business has full visibility and awareness of both. You will also be required to take opportunities to enhance the existing process, ensuring that the business meets and complies with the requirements of the Citi Policy Governance Policy.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the maintenance of a governance process to ensure that all ICG Business owned Policy Documents are in line with Citi's Policy Governance standards and are reviewed and approved appropriately
  • Provide drafting guidance to the ICG Business, in accordance with the requirements of the Citi Policy Document template
  • Maintain a central ICG view of all policies owned by and those that impact the ICG
  • Run an ICG policy pipeline process and ensure appropriate review, according to the ICG Policy Approval Committee charter
  • Build and develop partnerships with Policy Document Owners to ensure the appropriate processes, reviews and approvals have occurred before leadership review
  • Coordinate the review and approval of Policy Documents by the appropriate individuals and committees
  • Develop analytics and reporting to track Policy Documents requiring upcoming review, approval and discontinuation
  • Execute an ongoing due diligence process that ensures all required Policy Documents are posted in the Citi Policy Directory
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates, reviews and publications of all Policy Documents within the Citi Policy Directory
  • Assist in awareness communications of the Policy Document governance process to ensure appropriate due diligence is maintained by relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in executing against the Policy Transformation ICG Business deliverables
  • Provide thought leadership in continually reviewing processes and identifying improvements
Qualifications & skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organisation.
  • Self-starting but also with the ability to work in a team environment, listen and work well with others
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem - solving capability
  • Ability to analyse a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency
  • Experience in Policy Document drafting
