Infrastructure Investment Associate

A market leading Global Investment Firm with an established reputation and immense AUM are looking for an ambitious Infrastructure/Real Assets Investment Associate to join their team on a permanent basis in the City of London.

Your new role

You will be a core member of the Global Infrastructure and Real Assets Investment team, working directly with either the principal or the vice-president on the team. You will have direct exposure to the full deal cycle - from deal origination to the deal completion and execution. Your financial analysis and modelling skills will be utilised in the process of evaluating investment opportunities through running of financial models, conducting research and creation of investments proposals. You will have the opportunity to provide recommendations and analysis to the wider team and present them to the Investment Committee, giving you the chance to make a valuable contribution to the team's performance. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws is essential and you will be expected to report any risks and maintain the highest standards of conduct.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you need to have prior knowledge and deal experience in the infrastructure market either through direct buy side, advisory, consulting, or industrial roles. You should be able to assess the merits and the risk of investment opportunities effectively and have strong financial modelling skills (especially DCF modelling). You will be working in a dynamic team at a global company, so being able to collaborate effectively and deliver results under pressure to tight deadlines is required. Due to the scope of this role, fluency in another European language is advantageous, but not essential.
