Role Description
  • Responsible for liaising with the FP&A team and the Treasury team in Hong Kong to understand the latest forecast of the BU remittancesm and for recommending any necessary hedges; and the London GBP expenses and GBP coupon costs that require hedging into USD.
  • Support the Director to liaise with the relevant teams to understand any FX hedging requirements to support M&A activity.
  • Liaise with the Debt & Liquidity team and Company Secretariat to manage the external dividend FX conversions.
  • Liaise with the Treasury teams in London and Hong Kong to support any other FX requirements.
  • Responsible for the production of the bank wallet report.
  • Support the Director in the design and evaluation of solutions for the custody and collateral arrangements for the central liquidity portfolio and for transactional banking relationships as well as the evaluation of the viability of single group derivative counterparty / collateral pool.
  • Support the Director to assess the best solution to integrate the AC and IFC counterparty limit monitoring processes.
  • Support the Director to assist in the transition of operational tasks
  • Support the Director in the preparation of an FX playbook and ensure that there are sufficient FX counterparties and capabilities in all locations
  • Support the Director with the ownership of preparedness for strategic hedging requirements and the associated set-up to be able to execute
  • Responsible for updating and refining the relevant operating procedures for operations and FX

Role Requirements
  • Experience of banking and derivative settlement processes and systems, an advantage.
  • Understanding and experience of FX transactions and accounting, an advantage.
  • A proactive self-starter capable of working individually and managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-changing environment, essential.
  • Well-developed IT skills: Bloomberg and MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint ,required.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and highly organised, essential.
