Our purpose is to provide excellent investment performance to our clients through active management. By serving clients, we serve wider society. Channelling capital into sustainable and durable businesses accelerates positive change in the world. Funding the future is a privilege: we use it wisely and responsibly.

Schroders has developed under stable ownership for over 200 years and long-term thinking governs our approach to investing, building client relationships and growing our business.

The base

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.

With over 50 investment professionals located around the world, the Private Equity team has the relationships and scale to identify and source opportunities that other managers cannot access, leading to strong consistent returns for our clients.

The Programme

These attributes are combined with a positive assessment of sustainability and impact in order to qualify for inclusion in our funds.

As an intern, you will conduct due diligence of investments, portfolio analysis and monitoring, and detailed industry research.

Within Private Equity you will work closely within the European team to analyze and assess private companies and private equity managers or GP's and then make investment recommendations.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Support preparation of client communication materials and external presentations
• Manage data for company evaluation, (financial, ecological, social and governance metrics)
• Write special reports, meeting minutes etc.
• Build relationships with European Private Equity Investment Team
