cer Financial are working alongside a specialist and very unique Investment Manager who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Head of Compliance to work with them on a permanent part time basis; 3 days per week.
The Responsibilities of this Head of Compliance position will include:
You will also provide oversight and support as required to the International Compliance team, who are based overseas.
To be considered for this role you should have experience of managing a compliance function. Previous experience as an SMF16 is not necessary, but may be useful. You will be required to attend the office so you must be happy to commute into London.
I specialise in recruiting into compliance positions at all levels, including Compliance Analyst, Compliance Associate, Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager, Deputy MLRO, MLRO and Head of Compliance.

The Responsibilities of this Head of Compliance position will include:
- Take on SMF 16 and 17 roles and responsibilities
- Submission of all FCA returns
- Confirm SMCR control function
- Review and approve annual fees/levies
- Manage the response of ad hoc FCA enquiries
- Carry out PEP checks as part of investor on-boarding
- Regulatory updates
- Review of policies
- Licencing
- Staff regulatory training
- Review and approve Company House filings
You will also provide oversight and support as required to the International Compliance team, who are based overseas.
