The Role
The Assistant Investment Manager is a fantastic opportunity to assist a team of Investment Managers with a number of UHNW clients investing in multi assets. The Assistant Investment Manager will provide day to day assistance in a wide variety of client relationship aspects to ensure the continued growth of the team and wider business.
The Assistant Investment Manager will initiate and monitor investment trades, portfolio modelling and implementation of the private clients investment strategy.
The Assistant Investment Manager will attend regular Investment Team meetings, Client Team Meetings and carry out annual reviews of clients investment goals and restrictions.
The Assistant Investment Manager will assume responsibility for corporate actions
The Assistant Investment Manager will assist the team with their existing private clients and new business development.
The Assistant Investment Manager will assist with the preparation of documents for client meetings and investment reviews and produce bespoke periodic client investment reports
The Assistant Investment Manager will attend client meetings, participate and follow up on action points in a timely manner
The Assistant Investment Manager will respond to client, intermediary and third party queries as well as making sure client documentation is up-to-date
The Assistant Investment Manager will help facilitate client on boarding, account set up and life cycle events and coordinate payments and deposits.
The Assistant Investment Manager will assist with ad-hoc projects
The Candidate
At least +2 years' experience within a similar investment environment dealing with HNW clients in a support capacity
Educated to degree level - ideally
A proactive and intelligent candidate with a willingness to eventually lead client meetings
CFA Level 1 qualification is beneficial but not essential
Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
Problem Solving Skills essential
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
