Responsibilities would include:
  • Assist in collecting and evaluating financial / investment information, perform research and analysis in the sector
  • Work other key stakeholders in evaluating investment opportunities, preparing presentations and financial models for management meetings
  • Understanding bottoms-up industry analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities
  • Conducting detailed analysis on the identified opportunities, including understanding the target, competitive strengths & weaknesses, industry position, management's plan
  • Prepare long-term forecasts under various scenarios for investment evaluation and valuation
  • Conducting transaction due diligence, including financial and technical DD
  • Preparing transaction documentation such as investment approval documents for Management and Board approval
  • Asset management - Including monitoring investment's operational and financial performance, comparing against the approved budgets
  • Assist in business development and investor relations, support proactively in building businesses across all group's entities

Profile of Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 1-4 years of relevant work experience in M&A, Corporate finance, Investments, Big 4, Research, Due diligence, Corporate Development
  • Industry experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Financial modelling, numerical, accounting and analytical skills
  • Lean team, family culture
  • Astute and possess a keen eye for detail, good credit sense and critical thinking/analytical skills
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision (hands-on)
  • Good stakeholder management, communication to liaise with various stakeholders
