Financing Solutions Business Development, EMEA, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced business professional to enable the growth of State Street's Financing Solutions business in the EMEA region. Financing Solutions is a business unit within State Street Global Markets ("SSGM") that offers financing, cash and collateral solutions to flexibly support client needs. This includes prime brokerage, agency securities lending, principal funding, and cleared repo offerings. You will work collaboratively with regional and global cross-business partners and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Sales, Onboarding, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance).

The AVP of Financing Solutions Business Development, EMEA requires advanced skills such as:

• Creative, outcome-driven influencer with the ability to drive new client acquisition in line with business strategy and financial objectives
• Strong knowledge of the securities finance industry and proven skillset in translation of industry / client themes and trends
• Comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory landscape
• Demonstrated ability build client relationships and to achieve strategic business, financial performance and exemplary client satisfaction results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to present to senior management and buyside clients

What you will be responsible for
As AVP of Financing Solutions Business Development, EMEA will:

• Drive new business development and prospecting with key clients and prospects across financing, prime brokerage, and repo solutions
• Deliver highly valued solutions to clients, ensuring comprehensive and consistent delivery of services as their needs evolve
• Represent State Street in key industry forums related to financing and collateral solutions
• Develop relationships with key client contacts and ensure State Street is viewed as an integral, long-term partner
• Ensure seamless client onboarding experience
• Support and be part of a culture that encourages innovation, supported by an appropriate risk framework

• Strong knowledge of the prime brokerage industry and proven skillset in translation of industry / client themes and trends
• Securities financing experience, with preference for those with a background in with a buy-side client orientation
• Comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory landscape

• Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic business, financial performance and exemplary client satisfaction results

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of financial services experiences

Additional requirements

• Prime Brokerage sales experience an advantage
• MBA, CFA or in progress towards is preferred
• Travel will be required.
