Role Overview
CTI End User Services Desktop OS Engineering team is seeking an experienced Windows Desktop Engineer to augment the architecture/engineering team responsible for spearheading Citi's Modern Desktop Initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented person to join the team at the cutting edge of end user technology transformation.

The role encompasses the following;

• Provide ownership of core Windows desktop components.
• Drive the delivery and testing of solutions associated with Citi's Modern Desktop Initiative.
• Lead design sessions, assessment analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical leadership and serve as the technical point of contact for assigned projects.
• Support regional/global project and operational teams with technical subject matter expertise.
• Have the ability to analyze and solve technical problems relating to the OS, hardware, associated services and manage interactions with multiple vendor support channels.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively to internal clients through all available mediums (verbal listening writing and presenting).
• Have the ability to produce first-rate technical documentation.
• Assist with knowledge transfer to internal engineering and operational peers.

Non-Technical Qualifications

• Significant previous relevant experience required.
• Expert level experience in an Engineering role (combination of education/experience).
• Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment experience preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze and solve business or technical problems.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate with virtual teams.
• Ability to take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Willingness to stay on the leading edge of technology by learning new technologies.
• Proven record of accomplishment of delivering technology services and products.

Technical Qualifications

• Previous experience related to the design/architecture of a Microsoft Endpoint Manager (in a Co-Management configuration) environment required.
• Previous experience of implementing Microsoft Endpoint Manager to support the management of Windows, Mac and Linux devices.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Windows security framework.
• Expert-level knowledge of PC Hardware and troubleshooting.
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows 365 Cloud PC and VMware Horizon.
• Good understanding of the Adaptiva/Peer Cache content delivery products.
• Good understanding of VMware ESXi host and VM device management.
• Relevant experience designing solutions with integration points including SASE technologies.
• Good understanding of Ping Identity and Azure Active Directory MFA.
• Knowledge of Transparent Supply Chain technologies is advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Agile Scrum Product Owner and ITIL Foundation qualifications advantageous
