Who we are looking for
A Technology Risk Manager for IT Regulatory Services in EMEA responsible for operational management and continuous improvement of regulatory exams and inquiries across the UK, Ireland, and Continental Europe. The role requires close collaboration with Technology stakeholders, Enterprise Risk Management, and IT Compliance - both globally and in region.

What you will be responsible for
  • Strengthen the operational management of IT Regulatory Services in EMEA including the management of regulatory exams & ad-hoc inquiries on time and quality
  • Be a trusted advisor to the EMEA CIO on regulatory engagements and protect the firm's reputation by managing regulatory compliance risk effectively
  • Serve as technology risk liaison for engagements with regional regulators and State Street stakeholders
  • Connect and operate with global partners and peers, building relationships promoting consistency and leveraging /exporting good practice
  • Advise EMEA IT regulatory projects to navigate complex regulatory processes
  • Drive improvements in managing new or changed IT regulatory obligations in region
  • Strengthen regulatory posture through improved risk governance of regulatory concerns and timely / proactive regulatory communication

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline and / or demonstrable experience within a similar technology role
  • 10+ years of relevant Financial Services experience with strong emphasis on banking IT regulations applicable to the UK, Ireland, and Continental Europe
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English: Excellent written and spoken communication skills
