2022 is an exciting year for technology professionals to join CME Group following the recent $1bn equity investment from Google. CME Group has also agreed a long-term partnership with Google to migrate our technology infrastructure to Google Cloud in a visionary partnership to transform the global derivatives markets through technology.
Our Belfast Technology and Support Services Centre was established in 2012 and has grown to a team of over 250 talented technology professionals.
We currently have an opening for a Systems Engineer to join our Enterprise Server Platforms Team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious IT professional with a solid understanding of Windows server deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting to accelerate your career.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Analyses requirements with supervision and supports existing development/QA platforms. Documents deployment and configuration procedures.
• Defines simple problems and describes the cause-and-effect relationship; Gathers and compares data about the problems with supervision and documents the details; Prepares analysis report and reviews with supervision; Participates in discussions with experienced team members to generate ideas for problem solving.
• Troubleshoots most of the known issues with support, works with supervision to document problem resolution.
Essential Criteria
• Solid knowledge and experience in Window Server deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills
Desirable Criteria
• Knowledge of Citrix, XenApp and VMware
• Scripting skills (PowerShell)

Please note that this role covers Tuesday - Saturday 8.30am - 5.30pm, with no requirement for out of hours work.
