About our client
Our client, a leading mid-market private equity fund are looking to hire a Portfolio Associate/Manager to join their impressive London team. The firm's Portfolio has significantly grown in recent years, they performing very well in the current market and are looking to make a number of new acquisitions in the near future, making it a very exciting time to join. The role is very broad where you will gain some fantastic exposure, taking on the responsibility of monitoring the financial and operational performance of the fund's high-calibre investee companies. You will be reporting into a very experienced Head of Portfolio Management whilst working closely with the wider senior team.
What the job involves
  • Liaise with portfolio company finance teams and deal executives to collect financial and KPI data
  • Maintain and manage the portfolio monitoring system
  • Ensure deal-related data is accurate and up to date
  • Provide financial analysis and support on value-enhancement projects
  • Review and analyse the content of portfolio reports of each investee company
  • Assist in fundraising data collation and validation
  • Prepare investment valuations
  • Assist the marketing team in the preparation of investor reports and presentations
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of fund models
Who we are looking for
  • Experience in analysis of financial data
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills, financial modelling experience an advantage
  • A strong academic background
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified would be advantageous
  • Experience in transaction services, due diligence or corporate finance support
  • Experience in a portfolio reporting team for a private equity house fund manager or a PE backed business
