On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to work in their Compliance team based in London a PAYE basis.

Overview:

The Compliance function is evolving the way in which it manages risk, placing greater emphasis on understanding and measuring the key controls operated by business divisions. Compliance is developing a risk-based programme of ongoing monitoring, designed to check that key controls are being performed correctly by the business. You will be part of the central team responsible for defining the monitoring framework, providing support and guidance to Compliance staff on the development and execution of the monitoring, and performing activities to support operation of the Monitoring Programme. This is a strategic initiative for the Compliance function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Tracking performance of the monitoring programme, engaging with Compliance staff on progress and escalating delays or issues
  • Administration and maintenance of monitoring systems and data archives (e.g. SharePoint)
  • Supporting activities to maintain the inventory of key controls
  • Support on implementing a monitoring workflow tool
  • Performing data analysis relating to monitoring coverage, performance, and results
  • Creating reports, metrics, dashboards and MI relating to the Monitoring Programme, and provision of data for departmental reporting


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of risk management, audit, testing, or monitoring processes in a financial services environment
  • Good data analysis and manipulation skills
  • Experience of developing and operating metrics, MI, dashboards and similar reporting
  • Experience of development and maintenance of workflow and tracking systems
  • Experience of supporting regulatory programmes in a matrix environment
  • Intermediate - Advanced experience of Office 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Familiarity with risk and controls frameworks
