  • Oversee business critical operations, provides subject matter expertise to initiatives benefiting the future state of IBOR, and communicates and consults with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain ownership of the global daily operation. Analyzes cash flow, transaction, and portfolio holdings data to ensure an accurate start of-day and end-of-day investment book of record is distributed to global portfolio managers and risk analysts. Working on global funds (US, AU and UK EIG portfolios).
  • Lead business critical projects by completing comprehensive analysis, recommending appropriate solutions, and participating in the implementation process.
  • Able to effectively communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors. Partners with project managers/leads, business clients, department leadership, and IT to determine the scope and requirements.
  • Initiate projects aimed at supporting the growing implementation of new processes and the improvement of existing processes. Maintains oversight over team project's and ensures implementation through the execution and delegation of critical tasks
  • Take ownership over the creation or modification of processes to support fund initiatives.
  • Oversee daily workflows completed by peers. Recognizes and takes ownership of situations that carry added volume and complexities. Applies appropriate resources to achieve the desired result.
  • Maintain a comprehensive conceptual understanding of the business unit's functions. Assists in the creation of workflow procedures and maintains comprehensive documentation of all current policies and procedures
  • Independently identifies and resolves complex operational issues and assists less tenured .
  • Serve as liaison between Investment Operations, Investment Management Group, and IT when issues or opportunities arise.
  • Representprofessionally within stakeholder interactions as a subject-matter-expert. Proactively resolves elevated issues relating to stakeholder relationships and can elevate as necessary to management.
  • Provide coaching and training to support on-boarding and continuous education activities to build subject matter expertise. Coaches others and provides feedback to staff management on various operational items and project management activities.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


What you need
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience. Experience in middle office operations, reconciliations, accounting, finance or corporate actions preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of equity trade lifecycle
  • Knowledge of derivatives a plus
  • Excellent judgment and proven ability to analyze issues quickly and independently to take appropriate action under tight time constraints.
  • Strong work ethic. Demonstrated willingness to contribute to the overall success of the unit
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, ambiguous environment working with multiple business partners and diverse responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills. Strong relationship management skills, ability to interact with various levels of management.
  • Ability to adjust to change to implement and execute new processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Access
