The role and Company
Bruin are working on an Exclusive basis with a leading Endowment Fund. We are searching for a Portfolio Analyst to join our client, a globally recognised endowment fund and one of Europe's leading educational institutions. The successful candidate will join the investment team and work alongside the Portfolio Management Head, who is in charge of portfolio strategy and risk analysis. Additionally, working with the wider investment team and other business areas will be anticipated due to the nature of the organisation.
The role's overarching goal will be to assist the Head of Portfolio Management with portfolio modelling, risk analytics, and internal reporting.

Essential Responsibilities
- Contributing to developing and improving our approach to portfolio modelling, analytics, and use of external market and macro data
- Building and maintaining portfolio and risk management models - including portfolio planning and commitment models, and portfolio stress testing
- Monitoring the market and macro environment and preparing regular updates and analysis for the investment team
- Assisting the Head of Portfolio Management in the preparation of internal reporting and analytics
Skills Required
- Graduate in an analytical subject (STEM ideal but not necessary)
- 2-3 years' investment industry experience, ideally experience with modelling and analytics
- Excel modelling
Personal Qualities
- Strong communication and information presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to produce work quickly and in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong interest in data and analytics and capital markets
