About our client
Our client is a leading alternative investment manager who have been investing globally. They have a broad range of investors including public and private pension funds through to HNWI's, sovereign wealth funds, unions, and corporations. They invest across 3 segments; Global Private Equity, Global Credit and Global Investment Solutions and have a generalist coverage across sectors.
Having grown exponentially across business units with increased complexity across strategies, there is a current need to build out the fund management practice. The team are looking to bring on board a Fund Management Operations Analyst to report into the AVP of EMEA Fund Management Strategy & Operations and who will work on a highly visible team lead by the EMEA CFO/COO. This is a dynamic and strategic position where the Analyst will be expected to provide strategic and operational support across the funds European Corporate Private Equity funds.
What the job involves
  • Perform strategic and financial analysis to support fund / segment leadership decisions
  • Develop financial analysis & materials for quarterly business reviews
  • Create rigorous financial models to help guide new product development / growth opportunities
  • Help lead project management of key strategic business processes and technology solutions
  • Research and prepare presentations to support leadership and stakeholder forums
  • Assist in facilitating cross-functional coordination across teams
  • Help on fundraising efforts and new product launches
  • Assist in a wide variety of workstreams and special projects as reasonably assigned
Who we are looking for
  • Analyst/Associate level investment experience; investment banking preferred (corporate finance, M&A, or strategic consulting)
  • Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher required
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with top-class financial modelling skills and proven ability in data analytics and data visualisation
  • Experience with or passion for alternative asset management, asset management or financial services preferred
