Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in the Investment Bank: Advisory teams. Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive 10-week program you will make valuable contributions to the bank's work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence. You will participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector. By the end of the program you will gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse, the industry in general and the diverse teams that collaborate to deliver innovative solutions.

Investment Banking Capital Markets offers services to clients, including corporations, private equity firms, and governments. We specialize in innovative solutions, drawing on our global expertise from across the full spectrum of products: mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity underwriting, corporate derivative and other structured products.

The groups within Investment Bank: Advisory teams are broadly categorized as:

Sector coverage groups:

Industrials & Energy (INDNRG)

Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT)

Consumer & Retail, Real Estate, Healthcare (CRRH)

Financial Institutions Group (FIG)

Financial Sponsors Group (FSG)

Product groups:

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

Country coverage:

UK Investment Bank (UKIB)

Start date: September

Duration: 10 weeks

Academic requirements: Graduate in 2023 from an undergraduate or Masters qualification (or equivalent) in any subject area, and available for a full 10 week internship in 2023

Your field of responsibility:

Develop your skills in an intellectually-challenging, fast-paced environment, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) but also working on deals across a variety of sector teams depending on your alignment. You will collaborate closely with junior and senior investment banking professionals to devise and execute projects, with an emphasis on European companies. You will work closely with one of our sector or country coverage groups, ensuring a rich, rewarding experience and an opportunity to develop your skills while working to help our client base achieve their strategic goals.
