This role will cover a range of Private Credit strategies from a Manager Selection perspective and involve responsibility to help the team grow the business quickly.

A well-established and highly reputable Investment Manager is launching a new international alternatives business and hiring a top-tier team as they do so. This role will cover a range of Private Credit strategies from a Manager Selection perspective and involve responsibility to help the team grow the business quickly.
What the job involves
- Conduct asset class research across private debt
- Identify and research private assets managers
- Build and monitor private assets funds pipeline
- Complete investment recommendations on individual funds and present to investment team
- Identify and follow market trends and contribute to FIL's thought leadership in this space
- Support portfolio management team in the management of private and public-private portfolios
- Work with client facing team on key opportunities
- 3-6 years of manager research experience in the private debt space
- Deep understanding of private debt
- Extensive industry network
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong client focus and proven contribution to positive client outcomes
- Team player with the proven ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
