Leading Hedge Fund - Investment Control (Risk Exposure and Progression) - Excellent Compensation

Our client is looking for a Fund Controller to join their Finance Team to operate closely with the Risk department. The role would combine various elements of P&L (such as attribution analysis and strategy P&L trigger monitoring), valuations (fund and market valuations using automated tools) and some aspects of fund accounting. You will face off and have exposure to a variety of desks including Trading, Quantitative, Risk and Middle Office. Furthermore, there is a significant project element ranging from technology projects, trading performance analysis and development of automated valuation monitoring.

This individual will work collaboratively with the other members of the finance team to analyse and solve complex problems together.

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic background and have previous experience of working closely with financial products. Our client is looking for an individual with great analytical skills while the knowledge of Python would be very advantageous.

The compensation is market leading and a strong performer can earn a large % of their base as an additional bonus payment. Our client has a strong track record of internal mobility and had people move into various departments including Risk.
