About our client
We are currently working with a well-established African private equity firm which invests in established and fast-growing companies in the continent. Their Capital Formation (IR) team are now looking to expand and add a dynamic Associate in their London office.
What the job involves
As an Associate, you will take a key role in project managing the firm's fundraising efforts across the region and will gain exposure to tasks and activities throughout the fundraising process.

What the job involves
As an Associate, you will take a key role in project managing the firm's fundraising efforts across the region and will gain exposure to tasks and activities throughout the fundraising process.
- Drafting of fund documentation such as RFPs, PPMs, DDQs and other materials
- Coordination of responses to technical and analytical requests from investors in an efficient and timely manner
- Support the creation, production and ongoing enhancements of client reporting
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Work on technology development and act as CRM platform manager
- Work collaboratively with internal teams such as legal, compliance, finance and investment
- Educated to a degree level with experience in investor relations, placement agent, investment banking, lead advisory and/or corporate finance or management consulting
- Previous knowledge or experience within private markets is beneficial
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills
- Comfortable understanding financial/performance terminology
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong work ethic, collaborative team player, and high level of integrity
