Job Description
A leading Investment Manager in London is looking to hire an Onboarding Analyst on a permanent basis. Remote working is offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain fund static data within internal systems
- Work with counterparties to coordinate broker transitions
- Represent trading operations at pipeline meetings with sales and product structuring
- Initiate and ensure completion of operational set-up for new funds and managed accounts
- Understand operational requirements for new trading initiatives
- Support the KYC provision to trading counterparties to meet their regulatory obligations
- Create daily trade and position reports to meet client, custodian and fund admin reporting requirements
- Assist legal teams with trading documentation
Key Requirements
- Good understanding of operational processes needed for trade confirmation, settlement and reconciliation, strong graduates with knowledge of Investment Operations will also be considered
- Knowledge of Markit (Counterparty Manager and Onboarding Accelerator) beneficial
- Self-motivated and responsive to a constantly changing environment
- Strong communication skills, with the credibility and confidence to influence and draw people together from various groups and levels
- A clear thinker with an ability to learn and absorb concepts quickly
- Good understanding of the related aspects involved in supporting a hedge fund manager
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
