The Shared Services Intern, joining us for a placement year from July '23, will have a great opportunity to learn skills including IT Functional Analysis, Project Management, Release Management, Execution Management & Portfolio Management.
Being part of the Shared Services team opens the possibility of engaging with a world-wide CME Network including teams in Belfast, Chicago,New York and London.

Position Responsibilities:
The Intern will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of the business, such as:

• Building Portfolio Management Skills - including Prioritisation, Supply/Demand Management, Budgeting & Project Forecasting.
• Building Project Management Skills - contributing to project management schedules, project tracking and reporting.
• Building Functional Analyst skills - contributing to requirements definition process (including building both functional and non-functional use cases) for developers to execute against.
• Building Release Management Skills - contributing to application change control process, managing compliance, risk management assessments.
• Building skills in Data Management - including Data Visualisation, Data Construction

Essential Criteria

• Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and solution orientation in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willing to work in a team environment; flexibility to work on multiple disparate tasks
