About our client
We are partnering with a leading global impact investor which is looking to add a Value Creation Director to its team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the firm in a highly strategic role, helping portfolio companies further leverage their impact.
What the job involves

• Helping portfolio companies by defining and implementing a value creation plan to help further leverage the impact angle from the fund
  • This involves regularly engaging with founders and entrepreneurs to help bring in this change
• Utilising knowledge gained from one company and being the person to help implement it across the broader range of portfolio companies, which can include (but isn't limited to):
  • Implementing best practice ESG standards
  • Measuring, monitoring and mitigating environmental footprint
  • Communicating impact internally and externally to further drive the value of what has been achieved
• Helping establish the fund as a leader for sustainability/impact
• Developing and maintaining key relationships with companies and industry experts to provide value-add services to portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

• Experience working in any of the following: roles where ethical, social and environmental impacts are considered with commercial output; a company that has a strong mission-driven culture; or broader operational experience within a fast-growing company
• Sufficient experience and stature to be credible working independently with portfolio management teams; influence the investment team and to build a strong external network
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong project and time management skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders, with the aptitude to work autonomously and proactively
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
