GLOBAL HEAD OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS (INSTITUTIONAL INVESTMENTS) - PRIVATE EQUITY REAL ASSETS

BASED LONDON-HYBRID WORKING

A fantastic newly created opportunity has arisen for a Head of Marketing & Communications to join our client. You will play a key role in leading the global marketing efforts to raise the profile of the firm which operates in the Private Equity Real Assets space. You will need a proven track record in the Institutional Investment Management space ideally with some knowledge of the real assets. This is a high growth scale up business within a large, high profile parent organisation.

You will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of the marketing, brand and communications strategy for the Private Equity platform. This is a broad, senior role within the firm that reflects the evolving business needs of the organisation. You will be a proactive self-starter with a solid background in marketing within the investment management space. Strong understanding and experience of institutional investors will be key. You will build and manage a team overtime to support the growth of the platform, but will need to be comfortable initially being both strategic and rolling your sleeves up.

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing and communications plan and budget for the group and be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities and spend.
  • Working closely with Group Research to supervise thought leadership research, press releases and all external communications relating to Private Equity activities, making sure all content is ready for publication and collaborating with Group Comms to ensure maximal external reach and impact.
  • Responsibility for the platform's digital presence, including website development and maintenance, social media strategy and content working closely with Group Comms.
  • External investor events management as required (currently limited).
  • Responsible for creating & implementing a brand strategy for the Private Equity platform
  • Manage all print/graphic/web design requirements for Private Equity, owning and providing the framework for content and templates for all materials that underpin presentations and all external communications, ensuring high quality and consistency across the platform.
  • Identify, build and manage relationships with real assets industry publications and key journalists in key markets to help build the company's reputation, working closely with Group Comms
  • Identify key events, conferences, speaker and sponsorship opportunities and devise a global strategy for participation and coordinate attendance.


Experience required
  • Experience of working at a senior level, across marketing and/or communications, with proven track record in the Institutional Investment Management space
  • Experience of working within the Real Assets space
  • Experience in the Private Equity space would be preferred
  • Experience operating in an international marketing role, ideally to include experience of marketing within Europe and the US
  • Experience of managing brand development and brand profile raising initiatives
  • Comfortable operating at a strategic and operational level
