Role: Institutional Equity Sales

Reporting to : Head of UK Sales

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and build relationships with institutional clients, both new and existing
  2. Work closely with clients' investment personnel to develop in-depth knowledge of client requirements and co-ordinate Liberum Capital's efforts to service the client
  3. Present equity research services and advise clients on investment opportunities
  4. Advise clients on investment and risk strategy
  5. Meet with clients to assess their investment requirements with regard to for example, capital growth income, level of risk
  6. Monitor clients' portfolios of investments and advise on appropriate investment opportunities.
  7. Active involvement in pitching for corporates and primary business

  • Full-time, permanent contract

Skills, Attributes and Credentials:

Essential

Excellent understanding of different investment sectors and capital markets

Able to analyse and absorb financial information

Highly numerate, detail oriented and logical

Confident with highly developed communication skills; persuasive and good listener

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Bloomberg and other information sources

Able to prioritise key tasks and meet strict deadlines

Highly discrete with good judgement

High energy levels and stamina

Able to plan own time effectively to ensure all information delivered error free and on time

Proven track record as an effective team member

Excellent attendance record

Minimum 2 years' experience in equity sales in London, or relevant experience in comparable professions corporate broking, financial PR, equity research
