Summary:

SEI is looking to build and expand our Defined Contribution (DC) pension offering in the UK and seeks a proven Sales Director. As one of the leading technology led Master Trust providers with a reputation for investment innovation and our Digital first approach, we will look to you to make a real impact on increasing DC assets under management.

What You'll Do:

› Using your outstanding relationship skills and existing network, you will maximise our current relationships and revel in developing new ones. These may be with consultants involved in DC consulting, trustees and plan sponsors of DC schemes as well as independent trustees and others who are potential sources of DC leads.

› You'll be the 'ear to the ground' of the DC Team, attending networking and industry events and will provide insightful market intelligence. You'll keep communication flowing around prospects and progress and will proactively look to develop your already strong knowledge of industry trends, emerging technology, regulatory changes and market forces.

› You'll lead prospective clients or their consultants through the sales process including a business discovery initiative to ensure we can deliver the best solutions to support their needs.

› Working with our Institutional RFP team you will help to produce exceptional RFPs and will look to respond comprehensively to DC related questionnaires and take ownership of the final product.

› You will own the preparation of the wider DC Team for finals pitches, coaching their messaging, informing content and prioritizing their focus based on the prospects need.

› From successful finals and through the contractual onboarding you'll live with the journey from prospect to client. Ultimately, you'll hand over for a smooth transition of the prospect to our client relationship team.

What you'll bring to the role:

› Substantial experience in a Sales, Business Development or Consultant Relations role with a proven track record in developing, managing and closing new business in a B2B environment

› The drive and initiative to establish and nurture new DC relationships and to improve existing ones. You may come from an investment consulting background

› The impact and self-assurance that comes with a proven record of influencing senior executives in order to close complex and high-value outsourcing and investment arrangements

› Solid knowledge of the UK pensions market coupled with investment knowledge of a DC propositions and/or experience in managing relationships with third party consultants
