Solutions Manager:
The Corporate Risk and Investment Solutions (CRIS) team was formed in 2021 in order to maximise M&G's competitive advantage as both asset owner (Insurer) and asset manager. It has a broad remit to grow global insurance AUM through designing and delivering products/solutions for Defined Benefit pension schemes.

This includes:

• Developing, marketing and implementing de-risking / covenant enhancement solutions involving insurance risk transfer for Defined Benefit pension schemes
• Coordinating strategy, building and advising on suitable product, ensuring best in class client service and developing new and existing business

Due to ongoing success and a strong opportunity set, the team is adding headcount in a number of areas. This London based role is focused on supporting directors and senior stakeholders in developing and delivering excellent levels of client service for on-balance-sheet insurance products. The successful candidate will have a particular focus on client delivery, communications and internal stakeholder and project management. However, commensurate with their experience, skill set, and interests they will be involved in diverse projects and have the opportunity to shape the development of their role as products are launched and the team grows.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

• Work closely with directors and senior stakeholders to develop strong relationships with clients, prospects and intermediaries and identify and design solutions
• Respond to internal and external queries, manage expectations and communicate results
• Ownership of the production of client deliverables, drafting internal papers and carrying out ad hoc analysis
• Work closely with Investment, Finance, Risk, Legal and Operations teams to integrate commercial, pricing and structuring workstreams into all aspects of product development

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Motivated to develop an in-depth understanding of pension de-risking, insurance and investment solutions and innovations
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality client deliverables
• Ambitious and self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative/prioritise workload to strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills, ability to understand & capture client needs and manage internal stakeholders
• Good numeracy and analytical skills
• Degree Educated.
• Experience working in a client facing role, ideally in DB pensions, insurance or investments
• Sponsorship of actuarial or CFA exams available
