Hedge Fund Operations - Credit Strategy - First Operations Hire

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this boutique hedge fund manager who is actively raising assets on the back of solid 2022 performance. They trade a wide range of fixed income instruments across US and European markets, including bonds, CDS (bilateral & cleared/single & index), bank debt, options, and low volume equities.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who offers anything from 1 to 6 years' experience working in a similar type of role. This would ideally be from the buy side, in another Hedge Fund, or even an Asset or Wealth Manager. They would consider those coming from a Prime Broker background looking to make the switch. Of course there is huge preference is those who have knowledge of Fixed Income or Fixed Income Derivatives, but not essential - intellectual curiosity, attention to detail and a logical thought process are more important. You must be very comfortable using Excel, even better if you are proficient with VBA.

This company is looking to hire their first person in non-investments, to do their Middle Office and Operations work specifically. Responsibilities will include the oversight of outsourced middle and back office, making sure all trades are booked and captured, perform various reconciliations, monitor corporate actions, and all whilst acting as first point of contact for Prime Brokers and Fund Administrators.
