We are looking for a Business/Operational Auditor, Assistant Vice President, who will be a subject matter specialist and controls experts, providing knowledge and experience in key risk areas. You will be a problem solving partner, looking ahead to help management envision future risks and opportunities. In this role you will be based in London, United Kingdom.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As Business/Operational Auditor, Assistant Vice President you will
  • Plan, execute and complete audits in accordance with our risk based methodology, highlighting internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with business management at all levels
  • Develop a good understanding and knowledge base of the company's operations, establish effective business relationships within the company and assist management in the understanding and adaptation of internal control principles.
  • Take part in various related audit projects, providing subject matter expertise and managing a team of audit professionals within these projects executing all phases and key milestones.
  • Work in partnership with audit and business stakeholders to communicate expectations and manage any project issues that may arise throughout the audit.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrable experience and background in internal audit including a strong understanding of risks and controls. An understanding of business environments comparable to State Street would be an advantage.
  • Additional experience with other EMEA regulations and/or legal entity governance structures/requirements will be an advantage.

Additional requirements
On occasions may be requested to travel to other global State Street office locations, subject to Covid restrictions.
