JOB DESCRIPTION
Within the Business Development Division of EDHEC Business School, you will be in charge of contacting finance professionals, essentially institutional investment teams at pension funds, insurance companies and corporations, as part of the promotion of the division's research-based offerings and services for the financial industry. You will be responsible for building and managing the financial community's engagement with the research conducted. The main tasks will be as follows:
Create and maintain positive relationships with the financial community by acting as the primary point of telephone and email contact for promoting events, including seminars and conferences, and obtaining answers to questionnaires.
Collaborate with the marketing department to optimise campaigns.
Manage feedback: processing requests to modify data, change contact details, etc., and updating the database.
Searching for new contacts, notably in the field of finance (identification of websites, directories, etc.)
PROFILE
Knowledge of finance is essential and experience within the investment management industry with an index provider, asset management firm or institutional investor would be an asset for the position.
Pleasant and friendly, enjoys contact over the phone, good oral communication skills, convincing.
Basic computer knowledge/technological skills - adept in using search tools, browsers and tracking and management features, including familiarity with CRM solutions
Persistent, dynamic, well-organised, attention to detail
Knowledge of foreign languages would be an asset, notably for European surveys
Salary will be determined according to EDHEC's pay scale, based on the candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
